With Easter just around the corner, I decided to design another quick and fun project for you this month – Sunny the Sleepy Bunny…because a cute bunny hat can be the reason someone smiles today. This new pattern comes in 6 sizes ranging from babies to adults, so you can keep your entire fluffle warm and cozy.
Detachable faux fur pompoms are super cute and they can easily be removed when you decide. You can also make ties instead of pompoms, using my Double Chain Easy Cord or Romanian Point Lace tutorials.
This hat base is made by working hdc stitches in third loop, which creates a knit-like texture. However, if you wish to and make a basic beanie, you can work regular hdc instead. As an option for warmer days, simply omit earflaps and finish your hat as a beanie.
