Detachable faux‑fur pompoms add an adorable touch, and you can remove them anytime. If you prefer ties instead, you can make them using my Double Chain Easy Cord or Romanian Point Lace tutorials.
A Soft, Knit‑Like Texture
The hat base is worked in hdc stitches through the third loop, which creates a lovely knit‑like texture. If you’d rather make a simple beanie, you can work regular hdc instead. For warmer days, just skip the earflaps and finish your hat as a lightweight beanie.
