Yarn Inspiration from Makers
Kudos to my friend Courtney Knorr, who made a stunning version using hand‑dyed yarns from Yarn Baby and Leither Collection. Indie yarns never cease to amaze me... you can create anything with them, even whimsical dinosaur hats.

And how about self‑striping yarns? Yes, please! Check out this fabulous version by testing team member Ashley Smith Jamieson, made with Red Heart Super Saver Retro Stripes. She didn’t change the color order at all... the frill naturally shifted into gorgeous blue and green hues on the back.

And then there’s the sweetest little triceratops made by Melinda Dickie for her grandson. Some days you just feel like a dinosaur, and that’s perfectly okay... especially when you’re this cute.

Can’t Wait to See Your Zingy Dinos
I hope you enjoy making this hat as much as I enjoyed designing it. I can’t wait to see your Zingy Dinosaurs come to life.
Happy crocheting!
