I’ve always been fascinated by handmade dolls - their personalities, their charm, and the way each one seems to come to life as you stitch. After carrying this idea with me for years, I’m so excited to finally introduce my newest creation: Josefina, a sweet little doll who comes with her own tiny companion, Jeffery the Elephant Pillow.
Meet Josefina & Jeffery! Josefina measures 9″ (22.9 cm) in a sitting position, or 15″ (38 cm) including her legs. Jeffery is just 6″ (15.2 cm) across; he’s the smallest and cutest elephant pillow I’ve ever made. Both are crocheted with DK‑weight yarn (3) using a 3.25 mm (D) hook, giving them a soft, delicate look that’s perfect for dolls and mini amigurumi.

A Fun Project for All Skill Levels
Amigurumi dolls are such a joy to make, and even if you’re new to this style of crochet, you’ll be in good hands. The pattern includes everything you need, from step‑by‑step instructions to helpful tips, like how to create sturdy neck support using double‑sided cotton swabs. This simple method makes it easy to adjust the neck width or length if your doll turns out slightly bigger or smaller.

Customizable Details
Josefina’s dress is removable, so you can make several outfits in different colors for any season or occasion. You can even adjust the length of her dress to suit your style. Her hair is created as a one‑piece wig that you sew onto the head... also fully explained in the pattern. These little touches make Josefina wonderfully customizable and full of personality.

A Joy to Make
Designing Josefina and Jeffery was such a delightful experience, and I hope you enjoy making them just as much. I can’t wait to see your versions... each one will have its own charm and character.
