Smile, spin, and let the wind carry you. I created this lovely pinwheel mug rug for the Paint Chip Challenge in our MQG and I would be thrilled if you chose to make this project as well. All you need is to get 3 paint chips with the color names that correspond with your initials, then choose fabrics that match the colors on your paint chips as closely as possible (1 Jelly Roll strip per color). This is a beginner-friendly pattern with simple cuts and easy assembly. There are 14 half-hexies, traditionally pieced together without y-seams. The pattern is written using the imperial system of units (US terms). It includes step-by-step images, printable templates, and quilting diagrams.
