Crochet Crocodile Stitch (also known as the Dragon Scale Stitch) features a fun, textured look that mimics scales. These scales can be arranged either in an offset layout or stacked in straight rows. Here are a few easy steps for creating a Scale in Crocodile Stitch.
- With RS facing, work 12 dc around the dc-posts of the V-st.
Work from the top down — 6 dc around the post of the first dc.
- Work from the bottom up — 6 dc around the post of the second dc.
- Scale completed.
