Reverse Single Crochet AKA Crab Stitch

Reverse Single Crochet AKA Crab Stitch

Reverse Single Crochet (also known as Crab Stitch) is just like single crochet, but is worked in the opposite direction. It creates a simple textured edging giving your projects a beautiful finishing touch.

How to crochet Crab Stitch:

  • STEP 1: Insert the hook in stitch to the right from front to back. NOTE: For left-handed crochet, insert the hook in stitch to the left instead of right.
